Some of the vessel certification requirements are also discussed. Spill response considerations and spill notification requirements are described along with auditing, inspection and drill requirements. The book also includes a description of compensation procedures and the liability limits set up by the Oil Pollution Act and the Oil Spill Prevention and Response Act. |
